Somalia: The New TFG premier will not Fare Better than his predecessors

Sharif Sheekh Ahmed, named today Mr. Abdiweli M. Ali as the new TFG premier to carry the burden and the curse of the many times failed and profoundly corrupt TFIS. Since its inception in 2004 with the conspiracy of foreign states hostile to Somalia's stability and unity, the TFG has been in constant decline, disputes and infighting ridden and spectacularly failed to bring peace, national reconciliation or one iota of political and social progress to the people of Somalia. The reasons for the TFG and TFIS failures and crimes against the Somali people are: First, The foreign states who created the TFG did not want or intended for the TFG to improve or advance the political and social conditions prevailing in Somalia but they rather wanted to further exasperate and create artificial wars based on clan animosties as well as religious divisions within the Somali society so that it will be very difficult to rebuild statehood in Somalia. Second, The Somali men chosen to lead the TFG are/were all puppets of foreign governments who are deeply hostile to Somalia and its people. Those Somali leaders lacked moral decency, patriotism, leadership qualities and humanity necessary to manage a fractured and divided country. They have been all narrow minded tribalistsThe misguided and conspiracy ridden TFG mission in Somalia has made the deaths of thousands of Somalis, maimed or wounded many more thousands and uprooted over two million Somalis from their homes and confined them to a miserable life of being refugees inside and outside Somalia. Since the TFG manned by Somali speaking puppets were forcefully imposed on Somalia, Somalia and its people have faced and seen catastrophe after catastrophe in relation to peace, human life, property, education, health, refugees, etc. In short, the TFG has brought death and destruction to Somalia and nothing else.Interestingly, the men who are/were chosen by the enemies of Somalia to lead the TFG, names; Abdullahi Yusuf, Ali Mohamed Ghedi, Sheekh Shariff, Sharif Xasan, Mohamed Farmaajo and Abdiweli M. Ali ( new premier) failed Somali to the maximum and did fare worse in respects of peace, Somali unity, social justice, good governace, etc. The TFG's newly named premier is not expected to make any difference as per the TFG's foreign led motivations and considering his political activities towards Somalia in the past.To conclude, The present TFG and the men who run it will never advance peace, national reconciliation, social justice, good governance or taking Somalia forward. As a matter of fact, the TFG is a waste of time for the Somali people and it should have been scrapped a long time ago, and replaced it with an all inclusive Somali government born out of all Somalis consensus and agreement. The TFG with the support of Amison rules less than 2 km in Mogadishu let alone the rest of Somalia. Thus, is it right or legitimate to call such TFG as government of Somalia ? The international community has described the TFG as ' most corrupt, inefficient, incompetent, conflict ridden and hopeless entity'. On the other hand, well known Somali patriotic such as General Dhoolay had publicly declared that Somalia is a colony of backward African states and that Somalia needs to be freed from the yoke and shackles of ruthless and merciless colonialism.Written by: Hassan Ali
